Locations

The headquarter of Fehrenkötter Transport & Logistik GmbH as well as Fehrenkötter Personaldienstleistungen GmbH in Ladbergen is located in the immediate vicinity to highway A1, exit Landbergen.

Beside the administrative building we also have a warehouse with more than 10.000 square meters hall area, a truck washing plant, petrol station as well as enough parking spaces for our trucks.

At our subsidiary Nürtingen we dispose mainly transports for our south german customers as well as transports to European countries. Both locations are connected with each other so that all employees have access to the latest data.

Safety

Fehrenkötter attaches great importance on safety.

Our trained drivers care for it that your freight is always secured according to the regulations and reliabel and thus is protected against damages and loss.

But safety is not limited to load securing by us: All our drivers participate regularly at trainings where they are teached by experienced trainers about the safe way of driving and the right reaction in dangerous situations.

All vehicles meet the latest technology and are regulary checked by external experts and by our long-time partner workshop referring to their safety.

Furthermore, our vehicles are equipped with the latest safety and driver assistance systems like ABS, ESP or Lane assistant .

Qualification

Driver or procurement manager - our employees obtain regularly trainings and further education in order to find for you the right, safe and effective solution.

Environment protection

Environment protection is not a lip service by us, but an everyday reality:

Our washing plant uses instaed of precious drinking water exclusively rainwater. The washing water is prepared in a biological water treatment plant.

Photovoltaic systems on all roofs at our company create environmentally-friendly electricity from solar power - more than as we consume in our company.

All our vehicles have environmentally-friendly engines according to the latest emmission standard EURO 5. By this, we reduce pollutant emmission about more than 70 percent compared to class EURO 3.

In order to reduce consumption and so CO2emmission, we train our drivers regularly in economic way of driving. Moreover, all vehicles are equipped with the vehicle data management system fleet board. Through this, we can always identify outlier by consumption and fix the cause. In order to avoid unnecessary fuel consumption we reduce the amount of empty trips to a minimum with the help of modern disposition systems. Our success: Despite the majority of special vehicles in our fleet the number of empty trips is less than ten percent.

Communication

We use latest communication systems to your advantage.

All our locations are connected with each other directly. So all employees work with the same data and are always up to date.

We use specialised IT systems and for our requirements optimised shipping software for the disposition and vehicle control. Thus, we are able to transport your freight always at the right time to the right place - Europe-wide, round the clock.

All of our vehicles are equipped with a fleet board, one of the latest vehicle communication and data management systems. This allows us an efficient control of vehicle management.

Moreover, our procurement managers are always in contact with our drivers via mobile radio and data transfer - so we always knonw where your freight is and when it will arrive.
